IT Dept in Nampa

I've spent five out of the last eleven weeks in Redlands, California. Beginning this week, I'm working out of the MAF office in Nampa. Prior to that, I've been working from home when not in California. Steve, from Meridian, was recently hired by MAF as a network system admin, and so I am working with him in the office up here. There are three other guys working in the offie also, and the number of MAF people working in Idaho has steadily increased since the beginning of the year. Prior to January 1 there were two guys working up here, and now we are up to six, and in a couple weeks it will be seven.

Here's a recent photo of the construction site. Progress is being made, but we are behind schedule. Another area of concern, besides schedule, is funding. To this point inn time MAF is far short of the funding necessary to fully complete the project.

Here is another shot of the campus, this one showing the MAF property. The hanger in the foreground, and the office in the background. The campus will also include apartments and an RV park.

Too Much HGTV Watching

We live across from the Green Bay Packer house. This is exactly what we were hoping wouldn't happen in our neighborhood. I can't believe the colors were approved by the developer.
