Wildflowers of Ecuador
The following flowers were photographed between 11,000 and 13,500 feet in the Sangay National Park of Ecuador. The photos are arranged in the order in which they were taken as I ascended. The last four were taken between 13,000 and 13,500 feet.

7. This flower grows on a tall plant about two feet high. The flowers are around 1 1/2 inches in diameter. |

8. These small flowers grow on a large round object about two feet in diameter. It might be a rock, but I didn't have the time to find out. The round object is covered with the green plant and the flowers. |

9. The flower in the picture is tiny. That's my index finger in a wool glove. The flower is actually yellow, not white. |
