Taylor is growing up fast. He loves his new home of Ecuador, and was the first of us who knew he wanted to stay longer than a year.
Taylor started kindergarten this year. He wasn't so sure he enjoyed it at first. Recess time was especially hard for him, but it helped that his papa was there at school and could play with him.

This tucan belongs to the neighbor. It's a neat bird, with a great color of blue around its eyes and beak. He loves to eat tarantulas and other insects. He stays in his cage most of the time.

There's not much better than getting out in the warm rain and running through some puddles!

Taylor has really enjoyed having his bike in Shell. Shell doesn't have hills like Oakhurst does, so Taylor can ride his bike to more places. He rides to school almost everyday, except when it's raining when it's time to go to school. He'd ride then too, but his papa won't let him. Of course this isn't Taylor's bike, it's Papa's. This is actually a very Ecuadorian picture; many kids ride bikes too large for them.

Here's Taylor getting his first haircut at a barber. Ellyn usually does it, but this time she let someone else do it. This picture wasn't taken in Shell, but at a mall in Quito.
