What Is That?

The Swedes with the SRSA are building the toilet facility today. They started last evening as the sun was going down, working by electric light so they could work in the coolest part of the day. This morning they are preparing to pour the concrete floor. We will actually have sit-down toilets, something I haven't seen for over two weeks. Here in the camp we have a latrine, so we will be going from a hole in the floor to a brightly colored ceramic toilet. I'm sure those two local guys in the photo have never seen a toilet like that before. Everywhere in Indonesia you find squatting toilets, even in Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants, like this one.
